I think my favorite part of Stranger Things is how Will went to play at Mike’s house and subsequently ended up being taken by a monster into a parallel world where he had slugs jammed down his throat and did everything that he could to survive, communicating with his mother through the lights, as his brother and his brother’s crush tried to hunt the monster and his friends befriended a telekinetic girl who has been kept in a secret lab her entire life who may or may not be the monster causing them all to witness multiple deaths and commit multiple felonies…

…and then one month later, Will is like, “I’m going over to Mike’s house again.” and Joyce is just like, “Lol k.”
